Teeth Size : Available in 3mm / 4mm / 6mm / 8mm / 10mm / 14mmChoose the width of zipper teeth when they are closed. (Millimeters)
Riri sliders are all labeled with their size (ex: 4, 6, 8) on the top of the zipper slider.
These numbers are based on the with of the zipper teeth, measuring from one outer edge of the teeth to the other.
Initial signifies (ex : M-Metal Teeth, DE-Plastic Teeth) the type of zipper tape this slider works on.

The PU makes the Metal zipper more suited to applications on sport clothes aiming for a more casual style. One of the top range products among Riri proposals.

Zipper with pre-blanked aluminum teeth mounted and fixed on the tape one by one. The aluminum teeth can be colored with an anodizing process granting fanciful chromatic effects.
The Eloxal zipper is also appreciated for its lightness (it weighs half as much as a brass zipper).

It is not a real zipper, but it is an accessory invented by Riri mainly used when it is necessary to tighten or widen garments. For example indicated in maternity dresses or baseball caps. It has pre-blanked Zamak teeth with an original brass slider body.

Zipper with acetal resin teeth made with an injection process. This plastic zipper has an excellent tensile strength. Thanks to these features Decor is particularly resistant to oxidation and to external atmospheric agents.
Available in a nice range of plastic sliders and pullers that reinforce the concept of lightness.
Moreover it is possible to play with numerous combinations of colors between tape, chain and slider.
Suitable for applications on technical clothing, bags, backpacks and specific outdoor equipment when it is necessary to have greater mechanical strength.

The water repellent zipper. Thanks to Riri’s unique polyurethane coating technique, the AQUAzip® will keep you dry and comfortable in demanding weather conditions.
By coating the woven tape and then affixing the teeth, Riri’s process protects from any damage or peeling of the coating.
This polyurethane film and the particular geometry of the tooth are designed and developed to minimize the possible seepage of water.

* Storm Teeth : Available in 10 mm sizes.

Small coil zipper with a chain made in polyester monofilament previously thermoset and then sewn on the tape. This product is particularly flexible and with good mechanical resistance.
Used in particular on clothing where the need is to have a hidden zipper.

* Polyester Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Eloxal, Top/Topstar, Solid/Star, Clip, Decor, Decor E Teeth(Chain). Made of polyester yarns. It is a Riri standard tape.
* Cotton Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Solid/Star Teeth(Chain). Tape made of cotton used for yarn dyeing. It has to undergo numerous treatments, therefore dyeing tests on zipper samples are necessary before starting production.
* Fluo Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Eloxal, Top/Topstar, Solid/Star, Clip, Decor, Decor E Teeth(Chain). Tape treated with fluorescent dyestuff which releases a particular luminosity at ultraviolet light.
* Lurex Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Decor, Decor E Teeth(Chain). Weave of polyester and viscose threads covered by a metallic thin layer to obtain a lamé effect.
* Melange Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Decor, Decor E Teeth(Chain). Tape made of polyester or mixed cotton yarn. A yarn with one color for the weft and another for the warp is woven to produce a “melange” effect.
* Grosgrain Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica Teeth(Chain). Tape with polyester yarn made with special weaving which makes it look “rugged” and slightly more rigid. Suitable to reproduce vertical lines because the special weft and warp weaving allows for clearly defined vertical lines.
* Jacquard Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica Teeth(Chain). Tape with polyester yarn, produced on special looms; this processing makes it possible to create new patterns, reproduce logos or writings.
* Knitwear Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica Teeth(Chain). Polyester tape made in such a way as to have a thinner band center, which makes it easier to use on linking machines. Suitable for the knitwear industry.
* Recycled Polyester Tape : Work with Metal Teeth(Chain). The feature of this tape is the yarn obtained by using recycled polyester. It is made from polyester ecological fibers from recycled clothing or reuse of plastic bottles (PET). Thanks to a close collaboration between suppliers and our R&D department, Riri has developed a recycled polyester tape to meet the need of a specific customer from the Luxury Field, and also to be able to follow the market trend even more focused on the use of Green products and on the re-use of raw materials. Riri has always been a pioneer in terms of R&D and constantly evolves to meet the requests of its customers, offering zippers with high-tech features giving importance at the same time to aesthetics and to the Fashion needs.
* Aramidic Yarn Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Eloxal, Top/Topstar, Solid/Star Teeth(Chain). Special non-flammable aramidic fiber yarn (i.e. it can be charred but does not burn). Able to withstand temperatures up to nearly 400°C. for this reason it is used in the military sector and for fire-resistant overalls.
* Aqua Tape : Work with AQUAzip, Filmetal Teeth(Chain).
Tape consisting of a textile part made of polyester fabric coupled with a polyurethane film. Makes the tape waterproof.

* Satin Tape : Work with Metal, Simmetrica, Eloxal, Decor, Decor E Teeth(Chain).
Tape made of polyester yarn, especially thin and shiny; it produces a “satin” look and feel.
* Velvet Tape : Work with Metal Chain(Teeth).
Tape produced using nylon, on a loom with very thin yarns and two warps, one for the surface (coarse warp), the other for the pile (pile warp), and just one weft. Its name comes from the Latin “vellus”: fleece, or coat, and is well suited to describe its typical finish. Soft and pleasant feel and appearance.
